Our team at Industrial Welding & Repair recently did a heavy equipment installation in New Jersey for a client. This heavy equipment installation started with fabricating and installing a rupture disc vent line on a newly installed pressure vessel. Our client wanted to install this line due to safety precautions. In the unlikely event that the vessel would be over pressurized, the rupture disc would break allowing the pressure to be vented out of the tank and relocated to a safe area free from any personnel.
Our team was given the opportunity to fabricate a vent line for a local customer. Due to the positioning and size of the vessel’s vent line flange, we fabricated a line formulated of 316 stainless steel 12″ pipe and necessary fittings in order to satisfy the requirements of the engineering specifications. After fabrication, we delivered the line and used a crane to safely lift, move, and install the rupture disc and the vent line. We strive to complete all projects in a quick, cost effective, and safe manner to keep our clients satisfied.
