Towing Generator Alignment and Piping Modifications

IWR was recently called out to support a tugboat to help with the installation and alignment of a fire pump. During the project, we discovered fitment issues with the clutch and couplings that required our in-house machining of the bores before delivery and installation.

Once on site, we found the pump had not been properly aligned to the generator during the previous installation. Our team modified the equipment base, made relief cuts to the piping, laser aligned the system, and completed the required welding to restore proper fit and functionality.
